as their name suggests, they have longer ears than the average hedgehog. they're also smaller and are very cute!! they are native to central asia, parts of the middle east and a little of northern africa. they're nocturnal and primarily subsist on insects (70% of their diet). their ears are really helpful for them to hear their food and they usually wake up in early evening to eat food. they like breakfasts! they can hibernate for a while, the longest hibernation period was 40 days. i don't know if they are related to jesus or not. i think they are very cute!! i just think they are very nice. i think if i could choose a form to live in the next lifetime, i would choose the long eared hedgehog. they are cute and decisive and i think they are very neat.
